For their latest release Warbly Jets announced their second studio album, “Monsterhouse” On August 26, 2021, which was released November 12, 2021, by Rebel Union Recordings
The group's self-titled debut album was released in late 2017.
Having been described as “ALBUM OF THE YEAR”, “Criminally underrated”, “Infravalorado” and even being “thanked for the meal”. WE LOVE WARBLYJETs.
The album features heavy synths and bass driven themes to describe the overall straightforward characteristics of the album which we believe combine and represent a more darker/rebellious image to the music being played at the time. There’s something very special about this band and album and we love it all! make sure too peep the lyrics <3
Monsterhouse is quickly turning critics heads asking and wanting more.
“Ask Julien O'neill how Warbly Jets fits into LA's music scene and he'll have a simple answer for you: They don't. They exist out there in the ether—caught somewhere in between yesterday and today, where massive rock 'n' roll melodies brush up against skittish breakbeats, swoon-worthy strings, and laser-guided synth lines. "A lot of LA bands are hung up on what used to be," explains the keyboardist, "and refuse to realize how forward-thinking music can be when you embrace modernity. - Via NPRmusic
No less bombastic that their 2017 debut album, it’s simply different. “With the first record, I think there was a bit of us trying to make something that would be well-received,” O’neill says. “Now we’re really focused on creating music that pushes us forward, and that we’re excited about.” - BuzzbandsLA
